When I try to edit my blog posts I keep getting error messages. How can this be prevented from happening?

Hi there,
This usually can be resolved by clearing your browser’s cache. Here’s how to do it:

Hi there,
This is for https://recordlover.wordpress.com/ yes? Does the error message happen with any page you try to edit? Or is it an issue that is specific to a certain page or blog post? If so can you let us know which one (A URL to the post would be most helpful) so we can take a closer look.
Also, out of curiosity, are you copying an existing page or post (to create a new one) or copying text from an outside document like Word, email, or from another website?
Thanks for the additional info!

Hi,
You are correct with the web page http://www.recordlover.wordpress.com. It doesn’t matter which one I am trying to edit I get the same error. Not copying an existing page or post or anything like that. Any assistance greatly appreciated!
Thank you for the reply.

Hmm I do not see any error messages if I attempt to edit content on your site. I’ve chosen several recent blog posts at random and for me the faithfully load in the editor interface without issue.
It looks like you are using Chrome as your browser, yes? Out of curiosity what if you use a different browser instead? If you have Firefox or Internet Explorer/Edge can you log in to WordPress.com and try the same steps?
Do you get the error messages no matter which browser you use? Or is it strictly an issue with Chrome?
Thanks for the additional info!

Hi jerrysarcastic,
I tried doing all of that too. I went through Internet Explorer and went into WordPress.com. I tried to edit the post I’m working on and when I hit edit, nothing came up but a blank screen.

Hi again jerry,
I just went through my AOL browser. I logged in and it’s starting to edit now. I’ll keep you in the loop though. Changed my password too.
Have a good night,
Nick

Great, the fact that it is working in at least one location gives us some idea that the issue maybe with your settings in Chrome. I know you mentioned that you cleared out your cache in chrome, but what about your cookies?
If you have not please clear your cookies by following the steps here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050
Also, sticking with Chrome for a second, do you know how to launch an incognito window? If so please open one, and log in to WordPress.com via the incognito window only. Are you then able to proceed to edit as normal?
Incognito windows do not load cache, cookies, or extensions, so if you are able to edit in that way, then one of those is likely the issue.
Thanks for the additional info!
