Error on Contact Form

    Hi there, my Contact Form kept showing my personal details in the boxes i.e. the Name section had my name, the Email section had my email address. I deleted them, but there was no SAVE button and so it kept showing up again. Eventually, I got frustrated and deleted the shortcode that was showing up. Now I cannot get it back again because I don’t know what the code is! Please can you help? Why was my own details showing up in the boxes in the first place? Thanks for your help.

    There wasn’t anything wrong. You only saw your own details because you were looking at your site whilst still logged in to your WordPress.com account. If I had visited your site whilst logged in to WordPress.com I would have seen my details. Others not logged in to WordPress.com would have seen blank fields. You could have checked this by visiting your site when logged out.
    PS: It looks like you now need to recreate a Contact page.

    Thanks very much Magicrobot. It’s all sorted now. I can be quite impatient when setting up new blogs. I found a copy of the shortlink online and pasted it in. I appreciate you taking the time to send me a reply so quickly.
