Error posting from Windows Live Writer

    Can not post from windows live writer to Word Press. I have been using it for nearly 10 years until today and never a problem. The message is:
    An unexpected error has occured while attempting to log in:
    Network Connection Error – Error Attempting To Connect to blog at:
    https://officesmart.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php
    The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send

    Please help me.

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi @officesmart, that’s odd that it would just stop working today. I’m surprised you’ve been able to use it all along though, since Live Writer has not been updated for quite some time. I understand it was discontinued several years ago.

    Given that, I can’t promise we’ll be able to get it to work. But do you remember when, roughly, it last worked for you? And, can you tell us what steps you’ve tried to get it working again?
