Error when trying to connect to JetPack

    I use DreamHost and am starting a new blog http://www.sonofsci.com. I just started construction and when trying to connect to wordpress.com I get the following error:

    “Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 503]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: http://jetpack.me/support/”

    Is there any way I can fix this and get access to Jetpack features?

    Please try temporarily deactivating all other plugins to see if one of those may be the cause.

    If not, theme functions can sometimes interfere like plugins, so please try temporarily switching to the Twenty Eleven theme.
