error when uploading photos

For the second day in a row I’ve been getting an error when uploading a photo “an error occurred in the upload. Please try again later” I’ve tried again later (for over 24 hours). I’ve tried different computers (although both working fine for everything else). I’ve tried disabling and reconnecting to the internet (although all other sites are working fine and I can write in new posts the error is just in the photo upload). I’ve tried different photos. I’ve been blogging almost daily for 4.5 years (1,588 posts and counting) so I really have no idea why I’m now getting errors when I’m doing the same thing I’ve always done. Please help! I want to keep blogging for many years more.

When you upload, are you going to your Dashboard and then to Media Library–>Add New? If not, can you try that? If so, please let me know.

Yes – I had run out of space. I have purchased space and working fine. It would be handy if the error had said that rather than it’s just an upload error and “try again later” when obviously trying again later wasn’t going to work unless I had purchased space! Thanks anyway.

Glad you got it sorted out.
I will look into the messaging and see if it can be improved.
