Error with accessing admin settings

    My site is not searchable on google. According to this you, I need to access the WP Admin dashboard to change the reading settings. However, when I type /wp-admin to my site address, it disappears. This is no good as my site cannot be found.

    Hi dorrigocommunityexchange,

    dorrigocommunityexchange.wordpress.com is marked as public in your privacy settings, which means it can be accessed by search engines. These can be accessed from My Sites > Settings so there is no need to go to your WP Admin dashboard to make any changes.

    The site was only created 2 days ago and it’s worth noting search engines can take 4-6 weeks to index new sites:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

    This process isn’t something we have any control over. There isn’t anything wrong or unusual about it not appearing in search results just yet, it’s just a case of time.
