Errors & Issues with Menu Builder (in WP/D5 Creation ~ Simplicity Extend)???

  Hi WP Team & Community,

  RE: (1st Email To: D5 Creations asking for help with Simplicity Extend – Menus Builder);

  RE: (2nd Email To: WP – Ultra (particularly for the attention Brad Thomas ~ original email sent to D5 Creations asking for help with Simplicity Extend)

  I have done everything I can to find the solution before coming here (and the other sites).

  I refer to the tutorials like “ERICA MUELLER ONLINE”; “bradthomas127, The WP Guru YouTube 106 – Custom Menus & WP – Ultra”, …and of course ….WP’s about the “Cloudup video” at http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/” …inter alia).

  …All show tutorials about menu construction.

  All the Tutorials I’ve seen say much the same thing. I assume (from those watched) the versions are mostly similar and …even the WP.v3 Erica discusses and v3.3 discussed by Brad, right through v3.8.2 (Cloudup) has mostly the same features, and I had hoped this would even flow through to my latest version v3.9.

  Unfortunately …I never got as far with my site construction as building the menus in v3.8.2 …so I don’t know if that assumption is True or False.

  Well … what I do know is, that is not the case for me using Simplicity Extend in WPv3.9.

  With v3.9, I can see in APPEARANCE>MENUS> Tab1 (Edit Menus) ….and under that Menu …the page is nothing like those in any of the demonstration videos of Erica, Brad and Cloudup.

  At best, I can name the menu in “Menu Name” …then I can save that menu with its name, and I even find my site is as I see am shown to expect from the videos.

  That is where the similarities end.

  Following the step-by-step instructions …when I get to “Add Pages” to the menu …there is nothing like the demo video advise one should expect. All there is in the “Pages” column on the left is the message …”No Items”.

  Trying and trying ..it still falls over. I now have a list of name for my menu when I go to make a new one …but that’s as far as I can progress.

  From all that …I now know I need help.

  Q. 1: Has the WP – v3.9 got the same functionality for building menus as the earlier ones?

  [And I can’t compare v3.8.2 with Erica’s v3.0, Brad’s v3.3 or Cloudup (assumed =v3.8.2) for the reason I mentioned.]

  Q. 2: Is the Theme I use (D5 Creation ~ Simplicity Extend) compatible with the newer WP v3.9?

  a.) What can I do to overcome these issues please?

  b.) Is there a new Video about the menu functionality for WP v3.9 yet?

  c.) Are these questions better asked of WordPress than D5 Creations?

  I trust this overcomes that message …but I have nothing but the request for assistance to date.
