Experiencing trouble with my domain purchase. FRUSTRATED!!

  I made a purchase two days ago for the domain <david-welby.com> after viewing my friends webpage from wordpress <http://alyssagodesky.com/&gt;. Today I have no webpage even after the confirmation email –

  I expressed my problem and was replied to by Ran –

  I believe I just registered my domain david-welby.com but I can’t access it and don’t know what is going on. I don’t want the WordPress.com address, I want the $99 I believe I paid for. Just want to figure this stuff out.

  I replied and have since not gotten a response.

  I do not want the davidwelby.wordpress.com address!!!! I want the david-welby.com address that I paid the $99.00 for and that was confirmed in my confirmation email. Ran makes it sound that the bundle was applied to my wordpress address instead. When I went to add the domain per Ran’s direction it prompted me to pay $25.00. This process has been a real hassle for me. I would like it to be cleared up or the payment can be cancelled and I can go through another provider. If possible I would appreciate the opportunity to speak to someone on the phone.

  You’ll need to have the davidwelby.wordpress.com address to map the domain to. The two will actually become one and the same, but davidwelby.wordpress.com will always be the core of your blog.

  Think of david-welby.com as a fancy new coat for it.

  You need to add david-welby.com as a domain via Store -> Domains in the Dashboard of the davidwelby.wordpress.com blog.
