    Hey,
    previously we used I think our university’s account to make a project here at wordpress, which we were aware will expire at some point, because then we only needed it for this one project. Now I again need it for the same university – is there a chance I can retrieve the content of the website I had made back then? I don’t need it posted again or anything, just to have access to the design for short time.

    Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host nadiag.wpnbu.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.

    To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.

    Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at previous current provider. As a result we are not able to offer backups and historical data for sites hosted elsewhere. Of course, we would love to host your site here, where we we are happy to help further. But as it stands now, we can’t assist.

    You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, but as it stands now, we cannot help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that your hosting provider may be able to help in this instance since they typically manage backups directly on their end. I recommend contacting your previous provider for further assistance. They are in the best position to help. Thanks!
