Export and Import into WordPress.org

  Dear Sir/Madam,

  I have transferred to wordpress.org and selected my host (bluehost).

  So now I exported all the content from here as a file and imported it into my wordpress.org account but the design has changed. Also are all my widgets not there. Can you please help me or even send me the exported file via email?

  I tried to import the file a couple of times now and this comes up:

  Importiere WordPress
  Erstellen eines neuen Benutzers für TW fehlgeschlagen. Seine Beiträge werden dem aktuellen Benutzer zugewiesen.
  Import von mentions itravelforever fehlgeschlagen
  Medien “IMG_0172” existiert bereits.
  Medien “IMG_0177” existiert bereits.
  Medien “IMG_0179” existiert bereits.
  Medien “IMG_0178” existiert bereits.

  – import failed
  – media already exists

  Hi Tobias,

  Theme files aren’t included in the regular WordPress export file — you’ll need to download and install the theme separately on your new site.

  You can get the export file for the Expound theme you are using from the Expound theme page. In the sidebar on the right side of that page, you can click on “Download Expound” to download the theme files.

  Then, you can add it as a new theme on your self-hosted (WordPress.org) site. After you install and activate the theme there, you’ll need to re-add the widgets to your site. If you have any questions about that process, the WordPress.org forums are the best place for help with that.
