Export function does not work

  By some how Tools –> Export –> Posts does not work any more.

  I tried to limit from January 2014 to June 2014 but when I click to Download Export File the system said “This webpage is not found”

  I have been trying since few weeks but no result. It worked before.

  Can you advise?

  Hi there, Hieu Min. That can happen sometimes when you have a lot of posts and comments on your blog. I’d be happy to help create that export file for you. Would you prefer to have an export of all your posts, or only the ones from January 2014 to June 2014?

  Thanks so much, but even I limited to one month, it still does not work.
  It is true that my blog has a thousand posts and comments.

  Please help export two files: one with all posts and the other one from Jan to June.

  Do you have a tool that I can use weekly at my own time and date?

  No, unfortunately in cases like this where the regular export isn’t working we have to manually do the export for you. We aren’t able to do this on a regular basis. The export tool is meant to allow you to move your blog from WordPress.com to another platform if you need. Is there a reason why you are trying to export your posts weekly?

  Thanks for working on it.

  I would like to keep blog data in case it may be hacked, deleted, then I can restore it.

  If I want to move to another platform such as blogger how can I do?

  I tried but it works only for a blog smaller than 1M, I think.

  We keep secure backups of your blog here at WordPress.com, in case of disaster or hacking. If something like that happens, we can restore your blog for you.

  If you’d like to move to another platform, we have a guide for that here: Moving a Blog

  You may need to contact support at the new platform if you run into any trouble importing your WordPress.com export file there, as each platform may have different requirements and limits on importing blogs. If you need any further help exporting your blog in order to move it to another platform, please let me know.
