Exporting data – not working, even though I changed the site to public

    Hi there,

    I unsuccessfully exported my private site, then read the advice to change it briefly to public in order for the export to proceed properly. It didn’t work. All I received in the zip file is a txt file with lines of dense text.

    Please help?

    Hi –

    That sounds correct. The export is a processed this way, and you can then use it to import on to another site. Is that what you are trying to do?

    Once you import that file you can see all of the content come through on the site. Have you already given that a try?
