External Pen Test

Hello,
Our security consultants highlighted a scope of assets that they would like to Pen test. Our word press site falls within that scope. We just need to notify wordpress of the pen test and receive an acknowledgment from them that we are going to be doing the work.

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. So, the folks you need to speak to about this will be your hosting provider’s support team.
