Externally hosted domain name

  We have a custom domain name that we would like to point to a WordPress.com site. Unfortunately, we are not able to follow all of the published instructions on mapping our domain because we need to keep the existing externally managed nameservers.

  Can we create A records pointing to some WordPress.com fixed IP addresses?

  If so, then how can I find those IP addresses?

  (We would still map the custom domain in our WordPress.com site admin, but leave the nameservers for that domain where they currently are.)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @edwardsnjd, yes, it’s possible. I’ll email with the current A Records. Just note they can change, and you will need to be aware of that and keep them updated. Cheers!
