Facebook refferer

    Just recently started my blog. I’m trying to keep it private from my personal life. Now when looking at my refferers, I noticed that I sometimes have a refferer from facebook. I don’t have a personal facebook, and my blog’s only 2 days old so I doubt someone was excited enough to post a link to my blog somewhere.

    Where could this facebook refferer be coming from?

    I don’t have a personal facebook, and my blog’s only 2 days old so I doubt someone was excited enough to post a link to my blog somewhere.

    Facebook appearing as a referrer in your stats means someone got to your site after clicking a link to it that has been posted on Facebook. That is the only source of that particular stat, so someone else having shared one of your posts on Facebook is the only explanation for this.

    Your site is public, displays a Facebook sharing button on every post, and had over 200 views yesterday, so it’s not that unlikely that someone shared one of your posts.
