Facebook sharing shows old photo and blog title

  Sharing on Facebook shows the wrong photo and title

  Hello,

  When I click share (for facebook) at the bottom of my blog, the image and blog title that appears on the FB page is the original header image I added and my original blog title, rather than the current one. This is also the case when one of my friends shared my blog on his FB page. So any shares to FB are out of date. Please help!

  Facebook runs their own cache of associated images and site titles, and we have no control over it. They should eventually refresh it.

  Personally, I have had some luck with asking a friend who has never shared one of my posts to manually share one. To be honest, I can’t even fathom why that worked, except beyond the fact that it did. :)
