Facebook/Google link thumbnail images

  Facebook link thumbnails are getting cut off. Any idea why that’s happening? It’s happening in Google+ as well

  Hi there,

  I took a look at your Facebook page and I see that the thumbnails aren’t loading fully on Facebook. Is that the problem you’re seeing?

  It looks like that’s an issue on Facebook’s end. You can see what information Facebook has for your publicized posts with the Facebook Debugger. Here’s what it has for your most recent post:

  You can see on that page that Facebook isn’t loading the thumbnail image all the way, but if you open the image file itself the full image loads:

  

  You’ll need to check with Facebook to be sure why that’s happening, since the issue comes up after we send them the full image. However, if I had to guess, I’d say it looks like the image file might be too big for Facebook. The image above is 4804 × 3202 pixels, so it’s possible that Facebook has trouble handling that image on their end. You could try using a slightly smaller image on your next post to see if that works better.
