Failing to register an nonexistent blog address

I’m trying to register a new blog, where the address I want is chasen.wordpress.com. I get an error saying this address it taken. but when visiting that address, it says that it isn’t taken. How may I please register a new blog using that address? Thanks!

The authors have deleted this blog.
Addresses (URLs) for blogs that have been deleted by the owner will remain deleted. We cannot, under any circumstances, allow someone to take over the address of a blog that was previously owned and deleted by its original/previous owner. Please do not submit support requests asking us to do this.
