"Fake" or followers who are selling something

  How do I delete fake followers or people who are trying to sell something?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I am seeing that some of my “followers” are people who are selling products or spam. How can you delete followers who aren’t really following your blog? Can you delete followers?

  You can’t, not on a public blog. You could set your blog to Private, losing all your followers, then set it back to Public again, but that sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t, depending on how WP.com has organized the following software. It’s best just to ignore them, same as on Twitter; don’t follow them back and just regard them as tacky fans of yours.
