False billing at WordPress

  WordPress billing department is now being run like a scam. I have paid my bills in advance in March and April, over 80€, two months before renewals, as I was afraid to loose hosting or a domain name. I got bank proof that the dues were paid in advance.

  Then suddenly I received an email claiming that I need to pay the same sum again. When I contacted the support department, I got no reply.

  Then the billing started getting modified. I purchase one domain, then WordPress claims purchased a different one. The ammounts on the bills I supposedly owe got modified at least two or three times during past months, and the claims on the dashboard and payment history obviously differentiated between themselves.

  WordPress is now making fake claims of unpaid sums, even though I tried contacting support multiple times over multiple days without response. Then I did a chargeback, since I was being billed for something I already paid before. Then the sum and the product bought in the chargeback got changed. Now I had to “pay a fee for the chargeback”, and even then the renewal option for my domain name disappeared.

  This is purposefully dishonest business, and illegal in my country. Consumer rights in my country are protected by both national laws, and European Union laws. I don’t want to sue WordPress in court, but have the problems resolved. Which is dishonest accounting and the removal of an option to renew my domain name.

  Last time something similar happened, the largest digital companies like Facebook and Google suddenly dropped in stock value and lost billions within a day, and had to pay fines to a court in Europe, as soon as I submitted my lawsuit. I am warning you.
