    Was hoping to make my 2 children authors of our family blog but didn’t want to have to set up user names or email addresses. Is it possible?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Unless you want their posts to be published under your username account, you’ll have to set up their own WordPress.com accounts and invite those accounts as authors on the site.

    You can create an account without also creating a new site here:

    https://wordpress.com/start/account/user/

    Also note that if your children are under 13 years of age, we need to have explicit parental consent for them to have accounts on our service. If that’s the case, please confirm here once you’ve created their accounts, and we can have our terms of service team follow up with you via email to get that taken care of.
