fatal error message

  Hi there, I’m using a child theme and have this message showing in the code: Fatal error, cannot continue: Expected STRING at line 10, col9. I cannot save and move beyond this, can someone help me rectify this, please?

  Hi @ tony2218, your site is indeed a self-managed WordPress.org installation with another host. It’s pretty different from the hosted sites here:

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  If you can’t sort this out, you’ll want to use https://wordpress.org/support forums instead. Good luck!

  Hi Supernova,

  thanks for getting back to me, and I see. I didn’t realise it was a .org installation!

  I just assumed it was .com as that’s the only login in I have that works!

  I have .org login details but that doesn’t work!
