Feature Image editor wont’t load

why the is the image editor not letting me edit my photos? Need this fixed right now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i deleted photos in my galllery last night not realizing they delete from the posts, and now they all missing photos and the editor is a sack of shit.

How exactly are you trying to edit the photos? The only editing options available in the editor, old or new, is changing the size at which an image displays in the post.
Any editing to the image itself can only be done directly in the media library, but even those features are very limited and we recommend making any necessary edits to an image like resizing and cropping before you upload the image to your site.

Deleting an image from the library will cause that image to disappear from any post where it has been added, yes. When you insert an image in a post all you’re inserting is a link to the file in the media library. If you delete that file from the library, the link is pointing at nothing, and no image will load.
This is how the WordPress software has always worked, and has nothing to do with the block editor.

Soon as click on “Edit Image” in the media library it sends me to a grey and black screen with a red bar that reads: “Sorry, there was a problem loading the image. Please close this editor and try selecting the image again”

Why? It was working fine yesterday. I just need that to work again and everyone of my problems is fixed

Where are you trying to edit the image from? The Media Library or through the post editor?
Also, are you using the WordPress.com interface (https://wordpress.com/) or the classic one (https://augblogca.wordpress.com/wp-admin/)?
To make sure it’s nothing related to your browser, I suggest clearing its cache and try editing the image again:

Media library through the sidebar on the publishing page for a new article. It won’t load past the second screen that allows you to adjust the size and fitting of the photo for the posting. I need to have properly fitted thumbnails for the Facebook post and to crop each new photo for every article.

The Edit Image screen loads fine on my end. Can you please try the following?
* Clear your browser’s cache and cookies:
* Check that JavaScript is enabled and supported by your browser:
* Disable any ad-blocking and security extensions on your browser
* Check that you’re using the latest version of your browser:
* Try another browser:
