Feature Image isn’t working!

I’m trying to update my featured image on a blog post. It shows that it is updated, and I even went so far to place another image in the body of my post so that it would default to that image when I’m posting my link to Facebook or LinkedIn. HOWEVER, it keeps choosing the second image down as the feature image and I am very frustrated! This is one of my most popular posts and I have never had this happen before. Please help me figure it out!

Facebook caches the preview for a particular link, so if you’ve previously shared a link to that post, changing the featured image on the post won’t cause it to also change on Facebook, unless you force Facebook to flush their cache as well. You can do this by pasting the link into Facebook’s debugger tool and telling them to rescrape the link:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/
LinkedIn doesn’t have a tool to do that, but it should be possible to force them to refresh the cache by adding ?1 to the end of the link when you share it there. However, please note this is a workaround and not guaranteed to work in all cases. If it doesn’t work there’s nothing we can do to force an update from our end, as this is controlled on LinkedIn’s side, not ours.
