Feature Image not Appearing in Email

    When I post a new post with a feature image, the image does not appear in the email that gets sent out to subscribers.

    I can add the image into the post (not as feature), and not set a feature image, but then the social connectors dont work properly as they rely on the feature image being there.

    How do I get the feature image to appear in the email that is sent to subscribers?

    Hi there,

    It’s not possible to change this.

    Subscription emails can only send what appears in the post content. Featured images are not part of post content, but is metadata connected to a post in the database.

    When you share to social media, on the other hand, it looks at the opengraph tags added to your post’s HTML, and there we use either the featured image, or the first useable image appearing inside your post. It can happen that services like Facebook sometimes select a different image, but as long as your image is big enough (at least 600px wide):
