Featured Image?

  I am new to WordPress and I have been trying to figure this out all night..my whole site is complete except all of my images are cropped badly. It only shows half of the photo on every page and when i go to customize my page there’s NO option to fix it. I have scrolled through ll the options hundreds of times. Please help!! My page looks awesome minus the photos…

  Hi there, the featured image area on Sela has a size of 1180 x 435 pixels, so if you keep your images to about that size, cropping will be very minimal. The Sela Theme Showcase page more information on image sizes and such in the Quick Specs section at the bottom.

  More important than actual image size is that the image be in those proportions of width to height, and that is right at 2.7 (2.7 times as wide as the image is tall).

  If you prepare your images and stay right at those proportions, the images will have minimal to no cropping.
