Featured Pages

  Hi there, I’m building a website for a 4-region literacy network and they would like to feature their 4 regions on the home page (as portals or click throughs).
  Is there a way to do that in the Edin theme? Or is another theme best suited? It seems like three featured pages is the norm. Would making the pages child pages work? So far I haven’t had much luck.

  Hi there,

  Off the top of my head I don’t know of a theme that uses more than 3 featured pages, but there are other options.

  Instead of using Edin’s home page template, you can set your front page to the grid page template instead, and then add child pages to that page.

  Another option is to use an image gallery and add links to the different pages in the captions of each image. You’ll need to add the HTML for a link in the captions, or it won’t work, so this is a slightly more complicated option. As Edin already offers the grid page template, I’d try that first.
