  how do i feature one of my posts?
  i want this post to appear in my home page

  Hi,

  You’ve got a static front page. Normally, when a static front page is set as the front page, another page is assigned as the posts page. Both the front page and the posts page (if a static page is chosen as the front page) can be set in the two drop-down menus at Customize > Static Front Page > Front page displays.

  If you want to keep the static front page, and display just one post on that page, you may insert display posts shortcode, customized to display just that post. Limiting the posts displayed by the code to a single certain post can be accomplished in various ways. For example, you might assign a category or tag to that post only, then specify the category or tag to display with an “argument” included in the code.

  By the way, presently there is no link to your posts page on the front page. You might consider adding a link to the posts page to your custom menu. See the Custom Menus support page.
