    I am considering setting up a political campaign website thru word press. I may only need the site for two months. Yet only two options for payment (@$4/mo) are offered: $48/yr or $96/2yrs. If I cancel after 2 months, we I get a refund of $40 for the unused part of the year? Thanks!

    If you only need a site for such a small length of time, couldn’t you manage with a free site? Or were you planning on mapping a domain you already own as it doesn’t make sense to go to the trouble of setting up a new custom domain that would be disposed of after 60 days.
    Refunds for WordPress.com upgrades can only be claimed before 30 days have elapsed (and 48 hours for domains). So after 60 days you could close the site but you wouldn’t receive any refund.
