fees for payment

  Hi there,

  My plan is to set up a website for business. I want co collect payments online. I need to know what are the fees I have to pay for the payments. I checked it on your website and it says that there is a 2% fee related to payments on the top of the Stripe fees. Is that right? What is that 2% actually? Do I need to pay it for wordpress?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  “WordPress.com Business 2%”

  Does wordpress deduct it from the payments? How does it work?

  So, for the WordPress.com Business Plan, Stripe collects 2.9% + US$0.30 and WordPress.com collects 2% from the payment sent to you.

  Thanks. I understand the stripe deduction, I just don’t understand how&when wordpress charge me 2%. Does it happen when the payment being made?

  Yes, it happens when the payment is being made.

  Stripe keeps 2.9% + $0.30 USD from the payment, and WordPress.com keeps 2% from the payment.
