Fictive Help…several CSS questions!
-
Hello. I’m sorry if these questions have been answered, but I’m new to the whole custom css thing and I don’t know where to begin. I fell in love with the theme Fictive, but I don’t exactly know how to make it look how I want it. These are the things I am wanting to do:
I want the site title and description, currently set to The Sanctum of Color….translating mental images onto paper since 2013, to be a different size/font from the header of my posts. I also want to be able to change the fonts in my post as well.
I want to know how to make the margins of the sidebar smaller so that I can keep the side bar fixed yet have all the links show up that I want. I only want about 10 links to show up. I don’t need any of that fancy stuff on my sidebar.
I want to know if it is possible to remove the “Blog” or “Art” at the top of my page when you click the archive menu. My page eventually is going to be its own .net and I want to be able to have a link to my blog and art and news without the words being shown on the top.
I THINK that’s all I can think of…at the moment.
Again, sorry if these have been addressed elsewhere, but I am new to this. This is my first computer in almost 3yrs…I’m rather rusty. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I also need to know how to make the sidebar have a background so that the sidebar isn’t see through and how to change the color of the tabs back to black. They were back, but now they’re coming through as orange. And how do I make the banner image non see-through?

Hi there! It looks like you decided not to keep Fictive or the Custom Design upgrade. Did you still need any help with customization? Just let me know and I’ll be glad to help you make some CSS tweaks.
