  Hello guys,

  I want to make some modifications to a WordPress site..
  The problem is that I don’t know how to access the files to be able to overwrite them with the ones that I modify locally.

  The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff)/. It is not hosted by WordPress.com, but it is connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

  Modifications like that are limited without a Business or eCommerce plan.

  What specifically are you trying to modify?

  I have the Business plan.

  I want to do a direct modification for some of the plugins that are used for the site, and I don’t know how to access the root folder for the plugins to add manually my code.

  I do not see any sites under your @elianamariad WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

  Is it possible you created your site under a different login?  What is the URL of the site you are needing help with? You have tried the SFTP instructions here? https://wordpress.com/support/sftp/
