file not found for audio

  I uploaded an mp3 podcast but when I play it I get “file not found.” This only started recently. Until a few days ago I was able to upload and embed similar files.

  I should add that when I view the mp3 in the “edit media” the file appears to be there (based on it saying 7 MB) but when I press the play button nothing happens. So I don’t think the problem is how I’m embedding the audio file in my post. Thanks for your help.

  Hi there,

  I noticed this issue on the most recent mp3 you uploaded. Can you check the mp3 file again? I refreshed the file in our system and it’s working for me now.

  Thanks for checking rachelmcr. It still wasn’t working when I tried it again just now. However, when I deleted it and uploaded it again it worked this time.

  Anything I need to do to avoid this in the future?

  It looks like this was just a one-time glitch, so you should be fine in the future. If it happens again, though, please let me know so we can investigate it further! :)
