File removal

  I need to remove a pdf file from my media library. I deleted it from the library, but it still comes up on Google when I search for it.

  Currently, the direct web addresses to the files might continue to work for up to a few days, as they are cached.
  Images (and other media) that you delete from WordPress.com still may be cached by search engines. In those cases, you should contact the search engine directly to find out how to remove the images from their servers.
