    i can no longer upload pdf files . the file is 26kb and i have plenty of storage left , the AI bot could not help and i get a server error message

    Could you let us know if this issue is only happening with a particular PDF, or if you’re seeing the same problem with other PDF files too?

    Also, would you mind sharing the exact error message you’re getting, or a screenshot if possible? That would help us take a closer look.

    Thanks for the reply . i did go through this with the BOT and it told me about the modlook tag . I have found that i can upload pdf files made in March and April but i cannot upload any pdf that was made in May . if i try to upload media in admin i get this message. :-

    Hmmm… can’t reach this page

    It looks like the webpage at https://stawellrifleclub.wordpress.com/wp-admin/media-new.php might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

    If i try to upload with add media file i get this message :-

    23-5-26 Scorecard.pdfUnexpected response from the server. The file may have been uploaded successfully. Check in the Media Library or reload the page.

    the file does not appear in the library.

    the file 23-5-scorecard is 26kB i have only used 296mb 0fthe 1g limit.

    i did find some confusion between the site names stawellrifleclub.wordpress and stawellshootingcomplex.wordpress .the site i am using is stawellrifleclub . it appears that the stawellshootingcomplex has just appeared between the last time i uploaded a file and now , not sure if that has anything to do with the issue.

    Thanks for sharing those details, @stawellrifleclub.

    I’ve tested uploading a PDF from my side and it worked as expected.

    Could you please try again using a different browser, device, or internet connection and let me know if the issue still happens? It would also be helpful to try uploading a different PDF file to see if the behavior is the same. You can follow this guide if needed:

    Regarding the two sites, I can see that both stawellrifleclub.wordpress.com and stawellshootingcomplex.wordpress.com were created a couple of years ago and are currently active on your account. If you don’t want to keep the second site, you can delete it by following these steps:

    Please let me know how it goes and if the issue continues after trying the above steps.

    This is all very confusing , I have been trying to do the upload on my Win 11 HP laptop with edge browser . So i went to my win 10 desktop and used edge browser , logged in to wordpress and the upload worked !

    so i went back to the laptop and tried the exact same thing and it worked , so I tried another fie that previously would not upload and it worked too.

    so where do we go from here ? I will try some other files and let you know the outcome.
