Filtering for mature content for schools

    I have a blog specifically for connecting with several elementary schools with which I work. It is private. Someone has to have the specific URL to see it. But WordPress got caught up in a cyber security crackdown the school system implemented over the summer and was blocked this year because it does not filter for mature content. I was able to get special permission for it to be accessed just by the schools I work with, but it took a couple of months of going around with the IT dept., and I have no idea if I will have to request access again each year and go through the same process. Does anyone know a way around this or know of a blog site that does filter and may be acceptable to the school system? I hate the thought of moving my blog but…. TIA

    We do filter for mature content. Those sites have their own status.

    What you’ve described, though, isn’t what we can help with. That’s something your IT department would need to whitelist for you so it doesn’t get caught up in their filters.
