Find custom CSS classes that are being used in blocks
-
Hi,
I’d like your kind support on this matter: How can I find custom CSS classes that are being used in blocks?
Example:
Months ago, I created an ‘example’ CSS class just to try a different block style. Now, I don’t remember where I used that CSS class in my 200 blog posts. As you can imagine, I’d rather don’t need to open every blog post to look up for that CSS class.
I hope someone of you could help me with this issue.
Best regards,
AJ

Hi AJ,
I don’t know of any way to do this. There’s nowhere in the dashboard that lists custom CSS classes added to individual blocks in individual posts/pages, except for the Additional CSS section in the Customizer where you’d actually be declaring styles for those classes. It’s possible these might be added to a specific database table, but on WordPress.com there’s no way to access the database directly except on our Business Plan.
But I see you have a self-hosted WordPress site connected to this account via the Jetpack plugin. If that’s the site you’re trying to find this out for, try asking the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ instead. If there’s a way to do this, someone there should know.
