Finding posts using tags in the reader

  Hello,

  I cannot find posts using tags in the reader. I am using tags in my own blog, but it feels like I am the only one using those tags. For exemple, ‘sports’, ‘children literature’ or ‘racism’ are some of the tags that I am using. Yet, I cannot find posts using those tags (although I am pretty sure other bloggers used ‘sports’ as tags in their posts…) I kind of feel like I am the only blogger on wordpress. I cannot find other blogs! When I am searching for blogs using ‘sports’ or ‘racism’, for example, WordPress gives me the following message:

  ‘Il n’y a aucun article sous le mot-clé que vous recherchez? Il n’y a donc encore aucun article avec ce mot-clé ; peut-être devriez-vous rédiger le premier.
  Art, livres, cuisine et sports : ce ne sont que quelques-uns de nos thèmes favoris! Qu’est-ce qui vous intéresse le plus? Parcourez les blogues par mot-clé pour commencer.’

  i.e ‘there are no articles using the tags you are looking for? Therefore there are no articles using this tag; be the first one to publish an article using this tag’ (something like that). Yet I have already posted articles using those tags! And I am pretty sure other bloggers did too! How can this be? Can you help me discover new blogs using tags? Thank you!

  P.S. I used to blog on WordPress a few years back and did not experience this problem back then.

  Hi there,

  When you look at Tags in the Reader, you’ll see posts written in the same language you have set in your account settings.

  If your “Interface Language” in your account settings is set to French (Canada), when you look at tags in the reader you’ll see posts written on blogs that are set to French (Canada) in the blog’s General Settings. Likewise, when your blog is set to French (Canada) in its general settings, other WordPress.com users whose account language is set to French (Canada) will see your posts in the reader tags.

  Thank you for your help! I can now browse blogs using tags in the Reader.
