Fine tuning cutomizing

    Get rid of the edit option that appears in the line following the date and my name on my new blog site. It does not appear on the one I’ve had for four years. Is it the theme or am I missing something

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello @aurorajstone,
    It will only appear when you are logged in to your WordPress.COM account.

    It is not visible to everyone. Don’t worry.

    To confirm that, you can check your site on the private/incognito mode of your browser.

    Howdy aurorajstone!
    So the Edit options appear, as you are logged into the WordPress account, it does not when anybody else checks it. You can try opening the link in a Private browser or Incognito, or in another browser where you are not logged in. It’s just a feature from WordPress to help you Edit it right there when you are logged in. So be assured, its working fine :)
