  Hiya, I have written my first post and that’s all ok, but I ave not been able to figure out how to get rid of the automatic bit which says ‘This is the post excert’. Any help is appreciated!

  You can go to your post edit here, and on the right, click the more options dropdown. You’ll see the excerpt section – you can delete the wording or add wording of your choice.
