First post isn’t showing up on the website, even though it is public

Hello! I’ve returned to WordPress to create a blog after about a decade away (and a lot has obviously changed since then) and, for some reason, the very first post I have published doesn’t show up on the website even through my site Reading setting is set to Public, and the post itself is set to Published without a password and isn’t privated; I have reverted it to Draft and had a bit of a fiddle before Publishing it again and still have the same issue, and I have no idea what to do so that it actually shows up. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Are you sure? I only see the post with today’s date on the front page and not the post dated 3rd August. If only the first post displays on your WordPress site using the Twenty Twenty-Five theme, your site is likely using a single post template for the homepage, or your Reading Settings are configured to show a specific page instead of your latest blog posts.
