First-time wordpress user trying to replace an image; how to publish a website

    Hi. This is my first-time using WordPress. I am trying to remove the supplied image on the home page and substitute my own image. I have uploaded the image and can see it on-screen in the editor (it looks fine). When I preview the page, it reverts back to the supplied image. Also, is there a button I should press to publish my site? Where is it? Thanks in advance for the help.
