Follower can’t like page

  I have just heard from someone following my blog that if they want to like a page they get a WP screen asking them to log Ito their WP account and saying their email address is not recognised (I don’t think they have a WP account) how can this barrier be removed please

  Hi M,

  The Like button is a WordPress.com feature and visitors must be logged in to WordPress.com in order to use it:

  Add a Like Button

  If they believe they have an account here but are unable to login, please ask them to look at the account recovery options.

  smokedfinefood.co.uk is a self hosted WordPress.org site so the WordPress.org support forums would be a good place to ask for advice about alternative Like options.
