follower invitation

  Hi guys,
  some of the people i sent the invitation e.mail as a follower, told me that if they accept the invitation then they get to this page: https://subscribe.wordpress.com/?update=notactivated.

  what can i do?

  If the email was recent (and therefore definitely not expired), can you ask those users to log out of WordPress.com and log back in using the account that’s being added to your site?

  Speaking with them directly would help too. You can point them to the contact page:

  Just have them add the tag “modlook” in the forums and a staff member will take a look.

  Hi!
  I have checked with some followers:

  – Some just received an e-mail with the Subscription button and once they click they are registered and start receiving regularly the newsletters, without being registered on WP.

  – Some others get to the “notactivated” page and I can’t see them as registered. few of these tried to accept the Subscription through a smartphone.

  should I send again the invitation? How long the invitation e-mail lasts before expiring?

  I’m not sure the exact time that the invitations expire, but if its been more than a week, go ahead and resend. If they were clicking the link on their mobile device, they likely weren’t logged in to their WordPress.com account in their mobile browser.

  If they log into WordPress.com in their mobile browser and then click on the link again, it should work.

  If it doesn’t, have them copy and paste the link from the email to their mobile browser.
