Follower migration

  Hello,

  I’m trying to migrate our 600+ blog followers from our WordPress hosted https://evergreencemeteryva.wordpress.com/ to our new site self hosted site at http://evergreencemeteryfund.com. I tried doing it through Jetpack and following their instructions, linking our self hosted site to WordPress.com and activating subscriptions, but https://evergreencemeteryva.wordpress.com/ doesn’t come up as an option on the migrate dropdown.

  Hi there,

  Only the owner of a WordPress.com site can transfer subscribers from the site. It appears that evergreencemeteryva.wordpress.com belongs to the user, modernatelierperfumes. Your account is just an admin on that site.

  To be able to transfer subscribers yourself via Jetpack you need to own both the WordPress.com site and the Jetpack connection, so as modernatelierperfumes owns the site and you own the Jetpack connection in this case, we’ll need to do the transfer for you. Please ask modernatelierperfumes to comment in this thread to give permission, then I’d be happy to take care of this for you.
