  I am not receiving email notifications when new users follow my blog. In order to see them in my users list, they need to be invited, one at a time by the admin. I went to a different browser and clicked on the FOLLOW button at the bottom of my blog and it said: “Your subscription did not succeed, please try again with a valid email address..” but all I did was clicking the FOLLOW button. There was no place to add an email address at that point. Please help. I am not sure why is not working. Thank you

  If you’re currently logged in with your WordPress.com account and subscribed to your own blog, that won’t work.

  You’ll need to log out first.
