Followers no longer receiving notifications?

    Hey guys, I tried to search up this and found some very old posts regarding this topic. I am still not to sure what to do about it, but here is my problem.

    I have recently switched from .com to .org and transferred my followers from the china.wordpress.com to chinarushonline.com via Jetpack self migration as suggested. My problem however is that my followers are no longer receiving notifications about new posts. I have verified this with two different accounts. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

    This might be the reason:

    while your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site, which they can do if you’ve added the Subscriptions widget.
