Followers not receiving confirmations; stuck at 50 subscribers

Several people have tried to Follow/subscribe to this blog, but are not getting the confirmation email. They have checked junk and spam folders. We are stuck at 50 subscribers. Is this a limit? It’s a public blog.

There is no limit to the number of subscribers your blog can have. Can you provide Staff will any additional details with regard to these people who cannot subscribe? Do they have WordPress.com accounts or do they not have a WordPress.com accounts? If they have WordPress.com accounts they can contact Staff using this link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ on Monday, October 17th.
After they use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
If they don’t have WordPress.com accounts perhaps you can get their details from them and use the same link to contact Staff with the details.

timethief, the subscribers do not have wordpress.com accounts. I will contact Staff with some details. Thanks for taking the time to confirm there is no limit on number of subscribers.

The confirmation requests were being filtered out as spam, but the Comcast email options were set so that you don’t even see the spam messages.
