Followers stop getting emails

I have several followers that complained they didn’t receive te mail-update anymore. Others say they signed up for it + confirmed but never got any mail.
Again other say they never had a conformation mail (also not in their spambox)
When I try to add them manualy they are already listed … but still not getting any mail. One person tried to confirm a subscribtion but was obligated to create an account. Now she wants to unsubscribe from that account but that’s not possible … I have 300 email followers. Is that a max?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you please share the email addresses of a few people who are not receiving subscription emails as they should? Paste each email on its own line, and it will automatically be hidden from public view.
One person tried to confirm a subscribtion but was obligated to create an account.
We do not force anyone to sign up for an account to subscribe to a site via email. The confirmation email does prompt people to create an account, but it also includes an option to subscribe without creating an account. I’m guessing that person did not read the entire email before they started clicking links.
