Font changes unexpectedly after pressing Enter in the Classic editor

  I am copying information from a row in a table by appending each cell in the row to the next cell with a carriage return between cells. I use Ctrl+Shift+V to paste the text into my post using the Classic editor. It shows up with each cell on a new line. I then add additional carriage returns where I want to group the lines visually into paragraphs. When I do so, the font sometimes changes in the paragraph above the carriage return. I thought Ctrl+Shift+V should strip all formatting out but it doesn’t seem to be doing that.

  It’s much easier to use the Table Block – https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/table-block/ – especially considering that the Classic Block or the Classic Editor are EOL.
